• The regulation certification , as described in that program.
• Keyboard weighting, and preparation for regulation.
• Installation of the left pedal ‘quiet’ mechanism.
• Evaluating, ordering and positioning a mechanism.

Description
We will learn how to measure action specifications to order and predict the
exact action positioning to avoid regulating problems. We will remove the
old action and replace it with a new one, modifying the keyboard and
installing dampers and hammers. A high level of knowledge and skill is
Necessary.

Goals
Within three to four days of work, a retrofit job can be completed. The skill
levels of Piano technicians doing this training will be greatly enhanced with
positive spill-over to other work. This training opens the door to completely
new business opportunities for Piano Technicians and greatly improves the
musical experience for piano players.
